you're not alone: voter registration can be daunting for many different—and some highly controversial—reasons, which is enraging considering the type of election year we're in.
we're proud to tell you that genius is trying to make that process a little easier, which is why we've partnered with hellovote—a 100% non-partisan tool—to help get you registered in 10 texts. 10! texts! & you don't even need a smartphone, any phone will do.
if you visit genius on mobile web, you'll see this purple button (RIP, Prince) on the homepage:
click on the button, enter your number, and you'll get a friendly lil series of texts guiding you through the registration process and helping you fill out the reg form for your state. before submitting the form, you'll get a chance to ~verify~ your details. hellovote uses encryption to make sure your data is and stays private.
