Ever listen to a "happy" song but felt sad while listening to it or listen to a "sad" song and felt joy?
Whether it reminds you of good/bad times or you have a personal reason for feeling the different impact than originally intended, the feeling always comes naturally when you listen to a song you feel attached to in some way.
I get mildly saddened when I hear songs from my childhood and I think that goes along with the feeling of nostalgia.
An example for me would be I'll Be Around by The Spinners. I would always hear it on the radio cause my sister liked listening to 60s/70s disco/R&B. It's a pretty light and happy song but I get kinda down when reflecting on the past.
Do any songs have an opposite impact on you?
