so today i went through the 2016 album release calendars and added the names to a TON of albums!!! what's the problem? none of them have tracklist annotations (gasp!!)

why???? because that's where you come in!! see, all you have to do is the following:

search for the album's tracklist (all of these are available on itunes)
highlight the album title
annotate it like this:

###[Artist Name](link to artist on genius if applicable) -- [*Album Name*](link to album on genius if applicable) Tracklist + Lyrics
1. [Song 1](link to song on genius if applicable)
2. [Song 2](link to song on genius if applicable)
3. [Song 3](link to song on genius if applicable)

make sure to search for each song!! this is important because it helps us know what's been added to genius and what hasn't. knowing this helps me know where our priorities lie to develop further steps to make our lyric database more complete

the final step is to gain a ton of iq!! 1. you'll get some for annotating in the first place, 2. you'll get some if when i (and maybe other people too) upvote you, and 3. through the scribe-a-thon—each annotation counts as a transcription!

so why exactly is this important? expansion is a major key. if we want to continue to dominate and become the most prominent lyric site then we have to make sure we're taking all somewhat-important albums into consideration! basically, more albums on our radar = us being more informed = better lyric coverage = better site as a whole.
