Concert News
- Austin Carlile of Of Mice & Men suffered a collapsed lung during a set, but fought through the pain and performed the rest of the concert. He opened up to Rolling Stone about the experience, saying his lung returned to normal after medics came to the venue. May he have a safe and speedy recovery.
- Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam kicked a rude fan out of a gig.
Bad News From The Zones (Bonus Points If You Caught That Reference)
- Post-hardcore outfit Issues have issued a statement about their recent house fire, thanking Red Cross for their help and encouraging their fans to donate.
- The Ghost Inside guitarist Zach Johnson is having his eleventh, and hopefully last, surgery following the band's terrible bus crash.
Ouch
- A FOX News correspondent deemed Red Hot Chili Peppers the "worst band on the planet" after watching a clip of Flea sitting with a gorilla strumming a bass.
Breakin' The Law (Bonus Points Again If You Caught That)
- Indie rockers Sleigh Bells are suing pop superstar Demi Lovato for allegedly using parts of their song "Infinity Guitars" in her track "Stars." The court document is available to read here.
My Comical Romance
- Former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way recently revealed that the name for his series with DC Comics, Young Animal, was originally going to be the title of his second solo album.
They Almost Slipped Away
- Rock legends Slipknot admitted that they considered calling it quits after the release of their self-titled debut.
