Hello, all, another week ends and another In Revue appears. Take a seat, take a break from puzzling over Frank Ocean's spiral staircase of frustrated dreams, and peep some happenings in the world of musicals.

BROADWAY BID'NESS

COMMUNITY CENTER STAGE

ALERT: It has come to my attention that some of the musicals listed on the musicals community page are not currently tagged as musicals! This is a travesty, as it prevents us from getting a truly well rounded picture of what kind of musical activity is happening around the site. So if you have a fave, make it a point this week to check out a page or two and confirm that all is tagged as it should be. Let's expand our pool of shows and our musical knowledge empire with vital metadata as well as great annotations!

As for the shows and users that should be on your radar, Heathers is looking even more "Beautiful" after @holdupforwhat's additions, @Crazy_Capricorn and @Caudelac strayed Into The Woods, @AngelicaKatherineSchuyler @MirandaZhang @Nightospheric and @Dr_Freudstein all beat the heat with In The Heights, @TVibeWinter rooted out the rotten in Something Rotten with their cleanup efforts, @co rdyleome has started the great task of going through The Great Comet, @MilanKalem performed a great service transcribing Allegiance, @NotVictorHugo nonetheless added some insightful annotations to Les Miserables along with @HSora, @IJVin added some Sesame Street history to Avenue Q, @LLicht got frisky with Rocky Horror Picture Show, @lemoncave filled our old brains with A New Brain, @Caroniver threw down on Hamilton, @EricSays42 slayed some Cabaret s ong bios, @melmelchye and @AlyScanlon got thoughtful on Spring Awakening, and @full-of-bees brought back the classic Guys and Dolls.

SIDE BY SIDE BY GENIUS

I kinda buried the lede by not specifying which version of this song I was featuring in the subject line, but as much as I (and everyone in their right minds) loves Idina Menzel, there is something untouchably AWESOME about Elaine Paige's original concept recording of "Nobody's Side" from Chess. I don't know if it's the English accent or the truly 80s… everything, but this song means the world to me, and lucky for all of you skeptics, it's the half of this song with less of the plot points and most of the high notes. For those of you who are already fans, there's also "The American and Florence" to annotate with all of the relationship drama and plot exposition a musical lover's heart could desire.
